Is In-Action still Action?
Let me start it off with this quote:
When you have to make a choice and you don’t make it, that itself is a choice.” – William James
Here’s the thing about this...
With every day, there comes a number of choices we need to make.
Those choices, or lack thereof, are either going to help us move closer or further from our goals.
You either DO or You DON'T.
YES, In-action is actually a form of action, in the simplest of terms.
Rarely is it that a single decision changes the course of your life.
It's the hundreds of other smaller decisions you either choose to make or NOT make that ultimately bring you to where you are presently.
Some of these decisions by themselves, they are seemingly the smallest of details.
Simple things such as hitting the snooze button for an extra five minutes...
Seems small and harmless but when this is repeated time and time again, a small action like this then becomes a habit.
And habits start to define who we are, trickling into other aspects of our lives.
Take into account that each choice, or lack thereof, pushes us in a very specific direction.
There is no standing still.
It’s either we’re getting BETTER or worse.
In-Action is bad.
It won’t get anywhere but worse.
And I'll tell you now, if you’re a someone who’s been finding them self “thinking” about starting something but you just always need more time or info or (insert another excuse here), stop THINKING.
Just DO.
You’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish when you start actually TAKING ACTION.
Make this week different.
Make this the DAY you finally change and move yourself ahead.
What is it you're going to STOP thinking about and start DOING?
What is it you're going to CHANGE for the better?
