Apple Cider Vinegar
Do you drink apple cider vinegar first thing every morning? I drink it every morning and I believe that it provides a number of positive health benefits. Of course it's not the best tasting thing on the planet, but like most things that are really good for, if you're willing to endure the difficult part, you will reap the benefits. Personally I don't drink it straight. Every morning I will mix 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a cup of warm water with some fresh lemon. This drink goes down pretty quick, but the main reason why I drink apple cider vinegar every day is because, based on my experience, it helps improve my digestion. Obviously apple cider vinegar is acidic so drinking it can help to improve the acid level and quality in your stomach which is critical to healthy digestion. And as I'm sure you already know, your stomach is the central point of your health and the better your gut health is, the better your overall health will be too! Here's a list of some of the benefits that apple cider vinegar can help with: 1. Improve digestion (boosting stomach acid levels) 2. Improve insulin sensitivity (helping you lower blood sugar levels) 3. Improve skin quality (better gut health means better skin) 4. Helps boost immunity (improving gut health improves your ability to fight off illness) Those are the main reasons why I drink apple cider vinegar every morning and I totally recommend it to everyone!
