Your Weekly Action Plan
Today's post is short and sweet, but super important because while you can never control the outcome of any situation you absolutely can control your ACTIONS, ENERGY, and ATTENTION.
I've personally increased my time spent on personal growth, increased my workouts, and spent more time in reflection and brainstorming.
I find it's the time AWAY from work that helps me to be more productive and keep my output high. So todays post is on how important self-care is for your sanity!
Here is your weekly action plan that you can start to implement now if you don't have one.
Stressed? Change your environment. As in... physically get up and move yourself out of that space. DON'T stare at your computer wasting time. If you're stressed and can't focus, listen to your body. Get up and go for a walk, listen to music, workout, or meditate. Then come back with a fresh mind and knock out your work!
Clear Your Mind. More than ever you need spend a little time in silence, clear your mind, and think for YOURSELF. Meditate, pray, breathe, do whatever works for you, but spend some time in silence daily and breathe. (minimum of 5 minutes/day).
Move. Workout or move your body for at least 30 minutes at least 5 days this week. This is one of the most important things you can do for yourself right now.
Media Detox. When it comes to the news, get in and get out. Get what you need to know to stay informed, and turn it off.
Gratitude. First thing in the morning and last thing before bed.
Morning Ritual. Don't skip it. Make sure you start your day with something that sets your day up for success. Something that makes you feel empowered, accomplished and in control.
Get Inspired + Remember Your WHY. Read your affirmations daily, read books, watch videos, call people you love, have conversations. Do whatever you need to do to keep focused on your mission.
