Are you excited for 2022?

I am keeping it super short and simple today as we get closer to the end of 2021.

When’s the last time you took the time to sit down and reflect on what you truly want out of life? For me it was on my birthday last week, and it hit me pretty hard to be honest. To the point I just wanted the day over with.

We can get so caught up in the go, go, go… ( am I horrible for this!!)

We lose ourselves. Our purpose. Our goals. Our vision.

We end up on autopilot, with no clarity if we’re even going in the right direction. (hello 2020 and 2021!)

I personally want to change that and create a vision/future that excites me. I have not been excited for 2 years. I have been surviving, managing, adapting and rebuilding like many other solopreneurs and business owners.

If you are in the same boat with me, I want to challenge you to take time, sit with your thoughts, put pen to paper and just write what you want from life, work/business/family/relationships in 2022. Do a brain dump, write down whatever comes to mind NO MATTER what it is. I am taking time this holiday season to do this exercise so that I can reignite that lost excitement, get creative again and move forward vs adapting to survive.

Together in 2022 we will let go of old habits and resentments and start living a life on purpose.

Wow Cheryl that sounds like a great plan. I read something recently that talked about creating a “vision board”. I have done this in the past but honestly I really did not take it very seriously. I think I just wasn’t ready to move forward with it. Putting pen to paper sounds like a good place to start. I’ve also been reading about “habits” and how important it is for us to take an inventory of all of our habits … really look closely at each one and then decide whether or not our habits are truly serving us in a positive way or if there might be a healthier more productive way of doing something. Good food for thought.
