The Time is NOW
Today's post is a spin off of our podcast this week - Why goals must feel uncomfortable. Most people put off their fitness goals until January. Which explains why they end up never actually getting in shape.
Putting off goals is a signal to your subconscious that your goals aren't that important or will challenge your habits and beliefs to much.
You're literally telling your brain that getting in shape, or whatever the goal is, it's low on the list of things you want to do.
So when the "perfect time" to start finally comes...
Your brain is already fighting against you.
When you go against the norm of waiting till January to start...
Your brain starts working FOR you instead of against you.
You're telling your subconscious that your goal of lets say losing fat, improving your health and taking care of your body is actually a priority.
And all of a sudden things become easier.
This is why I NEVER suggest waiting to start.
Doing something is better than doing nothing.
Which is why I have a few options to help you get started immediately.
Including a simple starting plan if you don't have a ton of time right now.
This might mean working out 2x per week till January and then bumping that up to 3-4x per week.
It might mean 2-3 simple habits each day to build momentum.
Either way, starting now is going to make a HUGE difference.
So if you're sick of feeling exhausted all the time, having no energy and looking in the mirror and seeing a physique that you're not happy with...
And you're ready to quit being the average person who settles for a mediocre...
Lets map out a plan to start building momentum today.
