Weight Loss vs Fat Loss
Are you trying to lose 20 pounds?
Or even just 10 pounds?
Whatever your weight loss goal, it might not end up being accurate for you.
Because unless you have to weigh-in for an MMA match, you probably don't really care how much you weigh.
You care what your body looks like.
More defined arms.
Chiseled shoulders.
A tighter midsection.
With the added benefit of feeling stronger and more energetic too!
Focusing on losing FAT, instead of just WEIGHT, is better.
What it really means is emphasizing MUSCLE. 💪
✅ At least 2-3 consistent weight training workouts every week.
✅ Enough protein to help you repair your muscle tissue and BUILD more.
✅ A decent amount of movement (walking and activities you enjoy) on a daily basis.
When you modify your goal to building muscle and being more active, fat loss becomes easier.
You'll burn - slightly - more calories at rest.
✔️ More protein means you'll feel more satisfied and be less likely to overeat.
✔️ Fewer calories means more fat loss.
You could certainly starve yourself for a short period of time and deprive yourself of your favourite foods. 😭
But that probably won't end well.
So aim for muscle.
You'll like the long-term result. 🎯
Chase the Strong not the skinny!
